Cheltenham - Gloucestershire
No trip to the Cotswolds would be complete without a whistle-stop tour of the many country pubs. With cosy corners, roaring fires, and beautiful beer gardens, they’re the perfect place to get together and while away a few hours over great food, fine wines, and top notch local ales. And we’re lucky enough to have some of the Cotswolds’ best on our doorstep.
Head over to Northleach and you’ll find the ivy-clad former coaching inn, The Wheatsheaf. Think hearty roasts in winter, stone-fired pizzas in summer, and a fantastic selection of drinks all year round.
In the charming village of Guiting Power you’ll find The Hollow Bottom – Gloucestershire’s premier racing pub and a favourite amongst locals for hearty pub food and fine ales. Be sure to visit on any race day at Cheltenham – the atmosphere is always electric.
Hot foot it to Minchinhampton near Stroud and you’ll find The Crown. This local favourite is all about serious steaks, locally inspired flavours, and a cellar stocked full of craft ales, fine wines, and fizz.
